Wonderful book by a great man!
This is a wonderful book wirtten by Linwood Smith who was taken from this Earth way too soon. A brilliant scholar, social activist, and writer! Great book with surprising histories told! I highly recommend it for classes that are exploring deaf culture and African American deaf culture.

Black and Deaf in American
I enjoyed the book. I have never any book that discussed the history of Black Deaf people. A great book if you want to begin with the history of some black deaf people.

Excellent whole food information
I found this cookbook to be very helpful in finding recipes for health-minded individuals without being too extreme. It concentrates on whole foods, natural substitutes, good nutrition, etc. I have recommended it many of my friends.

A Good Tale, Well Told
A good friend's fourth grader selected this book as a gift from me while visiting my new home. She was completely absorbed by it and stimulated to remember and relate to me the Texas history she'd studied in the past year. I read it, too, and found it a good tale, well told and well illustrated.
